RE: Week 35 - Great Britain F8 ($15,000) - Roehampton (Hard)

Pauffley playing well, and Dan drifting a bit- gets a double break from 40-15 down.
Strachan wins first game in 6 but still 4-5* behind and
LB leads JM 4-3*

No sign of Pauffley fading after Dan rather gifted final games of 2nd set, NP opens 3rd with love hold and leads 57 61 10*
Dan needs to lift his game urgently. 0-30 down. Strachan 46 21*

When Neil is on the top of his game he is pretty much unstoppable. Unfortunately we aren't seeing this often enough these days.

Pauffley ( who is playing great) made few errors as Dan finally breaks back and trails 75 16 1*-2

Pleased for Marcus. He needs the points way more than Lloyd (he's got a large number coming off in September).

Josh M edges the TB 10-8 against Luke B

Pauffley breaks for 4-2- mainly his good play not Evo's failings.

A guttural roar of 'Come on' from Dan as he finally breaks after losing 0-40 lead. Back on serve. *34
Dan wants it, but NP inspired.

Dan gets to 54, saves 2 bps but can't save 3rd -5-5
NP then saves 2 bps -one net cord, one unreturned serve but can't save third. Dan serving it for it again *6-5.

Evo finally takes it after a brilliant rally, which typifies superb contest. NP was brilliant too.

Evans wins 75 16 75 he won't earn a tougher 2 points this year!
Gary looks good too, 12 down to Cox but I gotta go.

Thanks TopEmp for taking the time to give us all that info.

Hopefully Neil can now have a run of good draws and bring to court some of that form that he has recently shown against some number one seeds and today against Evo.

I keep hoping. Have watched him lose 5 on the 3rd, 3 times out of his last 4 matches. Can't get much closer than that, but would make such a difference if he could win those matches
