Two of our recent National champions taking part here, Gemma (U14 champ) and Lauryn (U18 champ).
With the French national championships having taken part this summer too (two separate sessions, as it's juniors, and seniors, and series championships). SO:
Lauryn, GB U18 champ, has drawn Mylene Halemai, French U14 champ.
Gemma has drawn Kassandra Davesne who made the quarters of the French U16 championships. She also made the quarters of the 10k ITF in Tunisia last week AND won the doubles title.
Also playing is Chelsea Samways, seeded 6.
And top seed in the boys, Jack Molloy who gets a 14 year-old qualifier who made the last 16 in the U14s.

Excellent win from Gemma Heath - it was not an easy draw - nor an easy match, from the look of the score.
Chelsea Samways also won, but had a far easier draw (against a girl who'd been knocked out in the first round both times, I think, in Ireland recently).
R1: Chelsea May SAMWAYS (GBR) [6] def. Marie Lou FAORO (FRA) 7-5 6-3
We would have had a clean sweep of eligible national girls champions here if Emily Appleton had not accepted a late wildcard for Woking and withdrawn. Live scores are available at www.tennisticker.de/fra/fra2173/sb.html (Gemma currently back on court playing doubles)
