But yes, Jaggy, it looks exceedingly likely that Kyle will finish the season ahead of James, so well done you.
Oh and just confirmed my thoughts that I too predicted Kyle to finish ahead of James, so well done me too if we both end up right. And well done too in that event to anyone else you've missed.

Err no. Thanks for gently pointing me to my inability to read stuff properly. That it was read and then commented on at an ungawdly hour is no real excuse. Original now has an edit added. Now Brydan ahead of James is a rather better brag iff it comes off - close will be no cigar.

In the much more dependable rankings list that I keep posting on here as superior to the .eu one, Kyle is at 87 in the Race with 454 points. With of course another 16 so far this week, but they won't be added next Monday, only after the USO.
So a rotten draw for Mr Murray (not what you want 1st round) ... a really rotten draw for Mr Ward ... and either a great or a terrible draw for Mr Bedene, and no one will know until the day itself which it is.
As others have said I think James has got a pretty good draw. In context of a GS Belucci will be favourite, but to get a lowly seed who doesnt favour the surface followed by a Q v Q is about as good as it gets.
Sadly, recent form suggests that James will struggle, but you never know, he won't get many better chances to reach 3rd round of a slam again in his career than this I suspect.
Looking at list that will play qualifiers it felt like large number of them had got seeds, so likely a tough one for either Kyle or Brydan if they make it.

If Brydan had Wards draw at Wimbledon it would be even closer I think Indiana in which case the trumpet would be playing a tune right now.
Wonder what nickname Brydan should take. Brydan Rusedski sounds a bit naff but similarities in family background and nationality switch Greg was a housewives favourite though and I don't want to be upsetting any more of them.
