Re a discussion in the Vancouver thread, as far as I can see with what little Jo has to defend, she will now already with 30 FOR points here be on for a minimum end of season 625 ranking points, currently equivalent to WR 100.

So if she doesn't end up with Australian Open direct entry I'm a Dutchman and I am confident enough not to even think about buying clogs.

Since Heather's 280 Hobart title points won't come off until well after Aussie Open entry date, she's already well in ( though I would hope and expect that she will still have a top 100 ranking even after they are off ).

Well done to Ms Broady. And yes, it feels very odd to have four Brits playing in the FQR ... odd in a nice way! One could get used to this ... although it will be yet nicer to get used to having larger numbers of British DAs in the main draw.

Wonderful schedule of play for today in general - and all for free if you happen to be in New York. Lucky New Yorkers.
