On course for 9 wins on the bounce for Katy now.(JoKo is on a run of 12 unbeaten)

I'm a bit surprised she is not on the entry lists for the next few weeks that I can see..

So many tight games in this one, but so far Katy has won them all. Needs to keep the pressure up.

Katy wins 6-2 6-1 - another excellent week

Go win the tournament and have a good bash at the doubles - the extra prize money is decent

Katy lost the first set 4-6

But it's close, and 2-2 in the second.

Good to see Katy in better form again. Pity she couldn't get the title, but a very good week and all the best in the doubles. That was 9 wins in a row from Chiswick and then stepping up here.

Katy should now be back verging on the top 300 ( CH 272 ) and will be back to GB no 4 unless Robbo goes and very unexpectedly ( but very pleasingly ) wins a couple of US Open rounds.

Hopefully she can again have a good end to the season And then if someone suggests a training block interspersed with competitive matches after hardly a break from competitive matches maybe politely decline that as a strategy.

Katy's form didn't really reemerge from Florida at the beginning of the year and Katie Boulter didn't reemerge at all.

Re Katie B, things seem to have gone very quiet with her. She was for a time actually putting in tournament entries though then withdrawing. Anyone any news ?

Shame Katie couldn't win the title but a great week. Certainly on the way back up now.

Hoping she can keep this up and use Aus open quallies as a target.

I think she should be certain to get back in the top 300 now - 119 points now + 30 points to go on and just 5 to come off (Barnstaple R2) at the end of the USO should give her 144, which was enough for WR 289/290 in last Monday's list ... unless she's been doing so well recently that the 5 is no longer in her best 16 scores? (I do miss being sure I'm up to date with all this!)

Edit: just remembered to check the last two columns on the current ranking list - 16th best is currently a 1-pointer, so I'll stand by that 144 total.

Hey, you think that I didn't carefully calculate Katy's updated ranking points and check out the current rankings list ?

119 - 5 + 30 =134, right ?  Oops !!
