This is hugely encouraging. Robson could lose 4-6, 0-6 from here, and it'd still be encouraging. Winning four consecutive games against someone of McHale's quality is a quantum leap better than anything else she's done since her comeback.
Sort of: Mchale struggles still with effect of mono, she played in doubles in Cinci yesterday, and already once today, plus the travel.
Not saying Laura is expected to beat her, but, she has caught her in a very favourable circumstance.
I won't get carried away whatever, just as in these early stages of her comeback I haven't been much concerned by some naysayer stuff around.
It's a process, to me much more about next year than this, the overall trend seems decent, but will inevitably have bumps along the way from match to match and still within matches.

Edit : thanks, AliBB, I haven't really been up on McHale, but for Robbo more court time, even another win and further match would be great.

Yes, all of the above no doubt. But McHale has generally been playing much better recently.
