Great stuff from Johanna, really impressive.
Tough ask in the final against Flipper, but no reason to believe Jo can't claim a second Vancouver title, and a chance of a return to the top 100.
PS: again, wish the womens event was covered like it was when Jo won the title here before, and we got to see every match.
Does anyone know the exact deal with why Tennis Canada are now only showing mens challenger streams, though the ladies play on the same courts, and in the past when this was the case, all matches on these courts were covered, but now they're not?
Granby, Gatineau & Vancouver, now, all the same

No idea, but in the absence of a stream, in my mind she's playing beautifully (just as she did in 2013 when she claimed the title); purring like a Rolls Royce
Well done Jo, 2 finals this week. Overall, I'd say this tournament seems to suit her!
Great win for Jo, beating a Belgian opponent ranked just inside the top 100 but previously ranked much higher. Now she just needs to beat another Belgian opponent ranked just inside the top 100 but previously ranked much higher!
Jo is flying at the moment and the forehand and confidence issues that held her back from being a top 100 player seem to be a thing of the past.
