Depends what you are into, not the best in Canada (Montreal) but up there with a wild night out in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Really good Nandos for us athletes!

Unfortunately you've just missed the post wreck beach bare buns race party but there is always next year. Perhaps you could save up for 2016?

I watched the last few games of the final set and the TB.  The standard of tennis was good, Dan's decision to play Challengers would have  been vindicated even if he had lost.    Critics might say that Dan was lucky. I think he was extremely lucky!  Taro will be in a very hacked off state of mind right now and feel he should have put the match away.  How often do players turn around 5-0 final set defecits when their opponent is not exhausted or injured?  It does require good fortune. It also requires grit and determination.  Luck is where preparedness meets opportunity, and Dan stuck with it when many of us (all of us?) thought he would capitulate.  He stuck with it and seized his opportunity!

Tonight, he plays brydan on Ctr court.  Scheduled for early birds - 2nd match after 18.30 local, so I'm guessing 4.30ish for us in the UK. I hope to be awake for the 2nd half!

hoping the 2 doubles matches beforehand (also one n/b 17:30 local time) take a while....!
dan fairly strong favourite in the betting, though think it will be fairly close. hopefully evo can continue the magic!

I'd expect a fairly close match, though because it's Evo it's probably silly of me to think I know how it'll play out.
Hopefully as said the prior matches will be MTB nailbiters, pushing our boys into a more reasonable hour for me to watch.
Fingers crossed Evo can do the business (nothing against Brydan of course, great to see him playing so well too)

Good stuff.

Watch the football match of the season so far, the Renfrewsbire Derby, Morton vs St Mirren !
( live on BBC Alba, the BBC's gaelic service for those who can get it )

And I guess keep tabs on Andy if he's not too late.

Then early to bed and up for some tennis ...

I hope Dan wins the whole thing. I remember some years ago, he won a challanger in Jersey, which is also not knowm for its nightlife. Must be a trend.

Knock it off, Vandenburg.  You're now sounding even worse than a broken record - if you know what one of those is.  furious

Good morning all.  Dan has the break and will serve for the set. I can't give you too many details, just spent 20mins fixing an IT issue!

Dan had set point, but was broken.  Dan hit a DF immediately after the sp.  Good tennis!

Good body serves give Brydan a fairly easy hold. Dan to serve to get to a breaker. 5-6
