Brilliant from Evo! Not only did he play some great tennis at times, but showed such great heart to battle back from looking completely out of it on more than one occasion. This week is exactly what he needed, hopefully more to come still!
I'm glad we're guaranteed a Brit in the semi's, but there's no split loyalties from me! Come on Evo!!

Wow. That was incredible. Best match I've seen this year id say. That backhand volley at 4-6 in the breaker was ridiculous I don't know how he dug that out. Absolutely just what he needed. Fantastic

I believe this is what is called a reality check. Great if Evo can turn it around though.

And he did !!!!  - more than once ( or twice ! ) - oh yea of not enough faith !  Yes !!!!

What a volley off his toes at *4-6 MP down in the TB. And then seemed to have to win the 5-6* point twice after someone wrongly called a ball out.

Get in !!

And well done, Brydan too !!

Unbelievable win. Only saw the last few games but still got extremely excited at the end - until I remembered that I had left Dan out of my GB Top 10 for this years predictions. But I will settle for coming last in that competition if it means watching Dan win more matches like that one.

Buzzing for him right now.

The extra 10 points will make him around WR 366. Perhaps more notably, the losses by Daniel and Bemelmans means Kyle will be WR 98.

Millman being pushed to the limit too.

There are no seeds at all left in at this last 8 stage.

Naa, today is much much more about Evo ( and Brydan ).

Not just not as notable, I could barely care less about Kyle perhaps advancing a place or two, especially while he's not playing.

Making the top 100 for the first time I always think is a great mark, even if some would argue how much for someone like Kyle, who we hope to see go very much higher, but WR 99 to 98, or even if he temporarily fell back outside the top 100 - pffft

Millman out now too so no seeds remain in the quarter finals of a 100k. No reason why Dan or Brydan can't take the title. Getting ahead of ourselves here but if Dan does he would jump into the top 250.

Seeds wise complete contrast to Aptos last week when the 1/4's were filled entirely by seeds.

Just watched some of the match on the stream. I'm in shock. What a win. Brilliant play.

Utterly remarkable comeback. 0-5, then 2-5, 40-15 to Daniel, then 3-6 in the tie-break. Daniel must have felt he was playing Djokovic on those match points, it just seems Evans would not miss.

Just caught up on all of this.

What a fantastic couple of days in Cinci! Both Brydan and Evo playing out of their skins, seemingly - I am definitely going to try and get hold of Evo's final set at it seemed incredible! And as has been suggested, no reason why the winner of Evans-Klein couldn't go on and lift the title. As much as I have enjoyed watching Brydan this summer and the progress he has been making, I can't help but hope that Evo wins that match and pushes on to give his ranking that push that it deserves. Just like Lloyd Glasspool in Finland, he'd be entering the MD and avoiding banana skin qualifiers within weeks!

Allez le Brits!

Sorry Brydan although a fan I have the same blood type as Evo (claret and blue) and a passion for scratchings. Also lets face it the man needs a helicopter
