Meant to post this the other day and tried again this morning but haven't been able to get onto the forum for a little while now. Not sure what's up, maybe my browser or something.. but there was a stream of the match here;
Only one court (Court WIP) so sadly not his match against the top seed yesterday and unfortunately it seems to have only recorded the last minutes of his match today (and his R1) but since its hosted on the 'livestream.com' site it is archived.
Anyway well done Lloyd! So good to see him start his pro career well. Wonder if winning the NCAA doubles as his last college event (with his Danish partner) sent him out into the world with good vibes.
Saw bits and pieces of him on streams, if I remember he had a big first serve and a strong top spin forehand. Tall, strong, athletic build.
Lloyd plays the winner of the Sam Barry or Alex Vasilenko in the semi final
Meanwhile next week - Lloyd will still have the play qualifiers in Finland unless he gets an SE from this week. I reckon he would need to get to the final to get an SE. Geroge Davies on the other hand has made main draw there.
Haven't seen much of Mr Glasspool's play but would have placed him as not only capable of reaching BiS' magic number (now what was that again?) but going further into Challengers territory.
Great to see Lloyd following up that big breakthrough in Dublin last month with some good wins out in Finland. Barry won't be an easy match, but then neither was Kontinen and he won that in straights. Keep it up Mr Glasspool, I can almost sense BiS altering Lloyd's blazer ready for the day he joins the 500-club
