Nice for her, but obviously, thoughts go to Ms. Duval, and fervent hopes that it's nothing more than a body getting re-used to the strains of competition.

Naomi will have to serve a lot better than her 2nd set performance against Vania King, to have any chance against Shelby Rogers

I guess this means Naomi is out of Vancouver qualies, having just crept into the draw at the last update.

Naomi served really well in the first set again Vania actually from the live scores. 4 aces, no double faults and no break points against her if I recall correctly. She just had a dodgy second set - most importantly though is the fact that she won that second set anyway...!

6-3 breaks to love, helped by a couple of dfs - Rogers' serve went to pieces in the few mins I was following the score.
