Bad luck there Kyle but congrats on being top 100 [E&OE and acknowledging being top 100 is not the be all and end all...albeit worthy of note as far as most supporters are concerned] :)
Another great week for Kyle in what has been a smashing summer for him. John Millman at 26 represents the pinnacle of challenger tennis at the moment and is a decent benchmark, to push him so hard and come so close to back to back challenger finals is no mean achievement. I wonder if a week off to get into top shape for US qualifying before coming back out west for Tiburon and Sacremento is in order?
I hope Kyle and the team around him are enjoying his transition from elite junior to the main tour as much as we are watching it, hopefully he will have enough points in the bag to take planned pre GS weeks off allowing a full on tilt at the GS main draws without having to worry about qualifying next year.
Bring on the US open

A final would have been rather nice, but still very good from Kyle and his schedule has appeared great this year ( says someone who wasn't saying close to the same a year or so ago ).
Not too fussed about whether he takes next week off, but I can see the argument. As it is, it appears he will play Vancouver and is in the draw to play Dudi Sela in R1.

Yep I can see your argument as just seen how heavily stacked Vancouver is, he may well get some rest! if he doesn't he will have taken some decent scalps and be well set for qualifying
