Alistair, Jack and Luke Hammond all impressive and win in straight sets. Luke Purser loses a close one to the 4th seed.

Luke and Jack through to semi final of doubles while Luke and Alistair were on in their quarter final when I left.

Is Mohamed Abdel-Aziz the same Mohamed as Donia's brother?

I assume so. The name and age is right. I believe he lives and trains in Northumberland but presumably has decided to represent Egypt.

Sorry if this has come up before but it's obviously slightly unusual to have two young siblings representing two different countries....

Yes Mohamed is related to Donia. He was down as GBR 12 months ago I believe but unsure why he changed nationality.

Alistair and Luke through to semi-finals....Luke on fire winning 6-0 6-0 today. Jack lost comfortably.

Luke Hammond/Jack Burkill through to final of doubles....their third on the bounce.

Unfortunately not an all british final in the doubles as Alastair and Luke Purser went down in three sets.

Here's hoping for an all British singles final!

I'm glad you mentioned the w/o David last night as even the tournament referee hadn't realised he'd made a mistake. Our boys didn't pull out and ended up winning the final 6-1 6-4 making it three doubles titles in three weeks.

Alastair lost his singles semi-final while Luke won 6-4 6-3.

Very droll CDsmile It's not been a good few weeks for ITF junior tournament referees with draws having to be redone etc. The ITF are still showing the South Africans as winners on the overview page, though at least they are recording Jack & Luke's win on the drawsheet now.

(8) Mehluli Don Ayanda Sibanda (ZIM) d. (1) Alastair Gray 7-5 6-3
(9) Luke Hammond d. (7) Richard Thongoana (RSA) 6-4 6-3

F

(8) Mehluli Don Ayanda Sibanda (ZIM) v (9) Luke Hammond

Doubles F

(5) Burkill/Hammond d. (7) Petersen/Thongoana (RSA) 6-1 6-4

Luke Hammond does it! Wins 6-3 4-6 6-2. Fantastic effort as he had the whole crowd on his back and missed a big chance when a set and a break up.

That makes it five titles in three weeks for Luke. On a serious streak. Couple of quiet days now before we go again.

Brilliant news. And that's going to be another BIG jump up the rankings for Luke.
