While Darian King's win is a surprise, both Yoshihito Nishioka's and Ryan Harrison's aren't ... and wouldn't necessarily have been (to my mind) even if our players had won the 1st QR .... not that that's much consolation.
(3) Rohan Bopanna & Florin Mergea (IND/ROU) CR 18 (10+8) d Andy Murray & Daniel Nestor (CAN) CR 314 (289+25) ... or CR (3+25 depending on how you do it) 2-6 6-1 10-3
(Also posted in Andy Murray section, as he's still Andy Murray, whether in singles or in doubles!)
For what it's worth, the link to the MTB is on Twitter - posted because Mergea was making extraordinarily good shots. And they are rather amazing. Not much to be done under the circumstances.

Was watching the match between Harrison and Duckworth on Tennis TV last night and Nick Lester mentioned Kyle Edmund. He stated that Kyle was rather unfortunate as he had suffered a hip injury in Qualifying by falling over heavily on it.
It shows the fine line between a storming start to the week and abject disappointment.
Kyle trying to play through an injury, he has been very consistent in terms of disposing of players ranked below him, ie prior to stepping up a level he has dominated the cohort of players at the tier below when looking at that group in generality. A real shame as a fully fit Kyle is now ready to make that next step.
The travesty of a bet365 virtual victory ripped from us when the virtual was superseded by the reality of Liam loosing a very close battle to a player on the challenger/main tour cusp.
Sorry to hear that about Kyle - I said there must have been a problem, he just doesn't lose as easily as that normally. I hope it's not too serious and he recovers soon.

Indeed, and I had said that it might just be a bad day at the office.
Kind of glad that there was more to it than that, and he has indeed become much more consistent, certainly against lower ranked opponents. Well, as you say, as long as it's not serious.
