I'm hardly the one to knock Mirabelle's achievements
And we'll never know if her opponent was ill/injured from the very first ball, playing poorly and couldn't go on, or was playing her absolute best, still lost the first set (coz Mirabelle was playing better) and then suddenly got injured or just decided to call it a day. Pretty hot out there too - might be a factor.
But, as said, it's all part of the journey, and great to see the continued move in the right direction.
SF: Mirabelle Njoze WR 772 lost to (3) Ayla Aksu (TUR ) WR 516 (CH 512 earlier this month) 6-0 2-6 6-2
Mirabelle lost the first 6 games and the last 5, but was 8-3 in between. Women's matches in general can of course fluctuate, and Mirabelle is still just 18 ( Aksu just 19) and a pretty attacking but still inconsistent player, so such matches are quite likely to happen. Moving very much in the right direction though.

Take it as first semi jitters Mirabelle. You are doing just fine. Stick resolutely to your game style - results should not distract you. It will become consistent.
Mirabelle is down to play at least the next 3 10ks in Turkey so she seems to be going for 16 counters. That should see her well below 700. Really well done
Hard to label her as ''inconsistant'' when she is regularly beating higher ranked players even to go as far as she has in the tournament!
I meant mostly within matches, probably really within points too. Which is no big worry at this stage given the pretty aggressive way she plays. As TennisLover says, she should probably stick to her general method and she will get more consistent.
