RE: Davis Cup 2015 - World Group Semi-Final - 18th-20th September

By the way - Murray was so good yesterday, such a high consistent level of play throughout the match. His performances often get overlooked in the drama of the Brit no 2's performances in DC, whoever they are, but he made a good young player look like an amateur park hitter yesterday. We'll miss these days when he's gone...

For me, if we win this doubles, we will win the Davis Cup this year. Don't see Andy losing to anyone in singles and the Belgian and Argentinian doubles pairings are there for the taking. So today is the day for me.

Andy served for the match at 6-5 in the fourth but the duo got broken from 30-0 up.

Aussies then save an MP in the tie-break before taking it 8-6.

This is agonising. cry

Agonising, and very long. And there's still Sunday to come.

I think those two games will prove to be tie-deciding.

Praise from someone who knows a thing or two about doubles (and an Aussie at that). Todd Woodbridge's tweet: Proud of @lleytonhewitt @SamGrothTennis valiant effort Congrats to @andy_murray @jamie_murray best doubs I've watched for years @DavisCup

Well done The Murray's. Edge of seat stuff and good play from the Aussie's as well. Almost feels like a dream to think this time tommorrow GB could be in the final. I need to lie in a darkened room now for a few hours after suffering Andrew Castle all afternoon. How many times do we have to be told we are watching the semi-final. Please BBC muzzle him for tomorrow.

Missed all the excitement, clearly quite a match. Well done the Murray's !!

Meanwhile in Brussels, Berlocq & Mayer have beaten Bemelmans & Darcis in 4 sets to put Argentina 2-1 up on Belgium.

One imagines that was absolutely crucial for Argentina with the odds now on Goffin beating Mayer in the 1v1 match and it going down to the final rubber.

I have just finished watching Day 1 on iplayer, Day 2 is there as well for anybody that missed it. And if you missed it, you missed a corker! Well worth watching. I just managed to see the last point before dashing out - I hadn't eaten, it was so enthralling, so I'm just about to eat now. My mealtimes are all over the place!
