Great effort to sustain her performance for all that time and get the win. Service stats weren't great but you would assume this result shows a steady improvement in performance from Wimbledon.
You have to say that looks like three pretty inviting second round match-ups - you would think if Jo, Naomi and Laura can replicate their first round efforts it will be enough.
Yes, playing 'back to back' matches including a doubles match first this morning. Doubles is 2nd match after 10 am start and her singles is 'not before 12' I think. Thats 3 matches potentially played in a 16hr period by my calculation. Quite a big ask.

Thankfully she will play her singles 1st, 5pm our time, her doubles is 4th on that court, after 2 men's matches, so effectively after suitable rest.

Still a tricky turnaround from finishing a 3 hour match at 10pm and then playing again at noon. How Laura plays today will probably depend on how fresh she feels when she wakes up this morning.
I'm so glad to see Laura back to winning ways alongside other Brits. It must be nice for them to travel together and have people to hang out with too.
I didn't even realise they were all playing together until today, so now I'm exited and watching it with much interest
