I just really hope after such an incredible grass court season, Jo's made the right decision playing here. I think most of us were hoping and expecting her to go play WTA tournaments. She's certainly shown she can compete.

C'mon, Jo and Emily.

Was interested to see how they would get on together. Em's doubles prowess is known and Jo has been making a mark in much fewer tournaments and I suspect is a rather underrated doubles player, who could be very good. She's WR 140 as it is, GB no 4 and Emily WR 162, GB no 5 ( Naomi is WR 164, GB no 6 to complete our top 200 players after Josanna and Heather ).

Jo and Em have just broken to get back 'on serve' in the second set, 4-6 *3-4, though there have actually been more breaks in the match than holds.

I would guess playing with Erin, a local player with doubles pedigree, is a good partner to have.

Shame for Jo and Em, I thought they were just starting to get on top, as the match wore on.
