Well done to Dan S, good run of tournaments he's having at the moment. And well played Evo, massive jump in his ranking and the last 3 weeks have been great. Here's to both Dans continuing to improve and keep climbing the rankings again.
Both Dans will push on I reckon not much to defend both should be top 300 by year end in the 200s which is good for depth. Can see Alex Ward also pushing on couple of weeks in Sharm coming up for him to get back in the 300s

Be good if quite a few of the 89 / 90 contingent push on again. Strange how so often over the years quite a number have seemed to rise, fall and plateau together.
In the current rankings, they occupy GB positions 8 to 14 in the form of in current ranking order : Josh, Marcus, Dan C, Dave, Dan S, Alex and Dan E, ranging from WR 309 to WR 491. So they certainly add depth and hopefully some can push this to higher levels. As you say, there are windows to do this.
Dave will drop out of the top 500 this coming Monday, but a number of the others will advance.

Indy, for all these guys the time is now if they are ever going to be genuine ATP touring professionals. At 25 they have plenty of experience under their belts should have learnt how to optimise their physical condition and maintain it. I would love to see Milts establish himself as a boba fide challenger player.
Paradoxically Evo is the only player I can see from this group pushing through to recommence his battle to be a top 100 player which surely must be his personal goal. Brydan is of similar age and pedigree, I can't be the only one intrigued by the battles ( mainly with themselves) of these two talented players to reach that goal. Challenger tennis is becoming increasing relevant to British tennis as are ATP 250s

Good Post. I think Evans will make top 100 Klein Possibly ? Milton I never really rated any time I have seen him he look disinterested on court so I am delighted that he is moving up the rankings and proving my wrong! lol. Smethurst seen a few times top 200 definitely . Willis underachieved I think I thought by now inside top 200 does he want it enough? Playing ITF Briish tournaments they all know one another and the games they play time to diversify but the funding is a problem Still I think the mens game is healthy the womens lacks depth

While never say never for guys in their mid twenties ( and certainly not as early as the LTA traditionally indicates ), I certainly agree that time is passing for these guys and the odds increasingly turning against them.
I agree with comments re Evo, Smethurst and Willis ( who makes his choices ) and re Klein, who while a similar age is not part of that GB group who came through together from juniors.
PS : does a "boba fide challenger player" need approved by Bob ?
