Beth lost the first set 3-6, to the 16 year-old, Théo (a female Théo...)

Théo was about top 200 in juniors a year or so ago, at age 15, but has given up juniors.

She was the champion of France in the 14 year-old category, then went to one of the top FFT academies, but didn't really get on there (her dad says the training was excellent but too 'generic').

I believe that she's now at an academy in Spain, doing 5 hours a day (as well as studies).

NB. Just out of interest, her dad was world champion (or runner-up?) in roller-skating.
