Bambo saved a BP in the 1st game. His service games as a whole have been much tighter than Reister's but it only takes one good return game and he's in with a shout here
FQR: (q3) Nicolas Meister (USA) WR 426 defeated (q6) Luke Bambridge WR 663 by 3-6 6-3 6-2
Luke only managed to win 1 point against serve in that 3rd set, and had his back to the wall for his own service games. He seems to have made FQR so many times this year, wish they at least tossed the losers in FQR a ranking point, sucks to get nothing whatsoever for your efforts!
L32: (WC/1) Kyle Edmund WR 113 (CH = 101 last month) vs (Q) Ernesto Escobedo (USA) WR 462 (CH = 462 in September last year)
L32: (6) Brydan Klein WR 173 (+ CH) vs (Q) Marcos Giron (USA) WR 389 (CH = 368 last December) L32: (PR) Ryan Sweeting (USA) UNR (CH = 64 in September 2011) vs Ed Corrie WR 222 (CH = 215 in October last year)
L32: Freddie Nielsen (DEN) WR 263 (CH = 190 in August 2011) vs (3) Liam Broady WR 159 (= CH)
So, with Liam playing poor, lazy tennis, and Brydan deciding he's forgotten how to serve, both guys are within a whisker of losing the first set, Liam down 0-5 and Brydan 2-5
