Bambo saved a BP in the 1st game. His service games as a whole have been much tighter than Reister's but it only takes one good return game and he's in with a shout here

Umpire didn't let him take one at 1-0*. Serves 3 DFs next service game. now 1-2* and grumbling. Ah dear.

Luke only managed to win 1 point against serve in that 3rd set, and had his back to the wall for his own service games. He seems to have made FQR so many times this year, wish they at least tossed the losers in FQR a ranking point, sucks to get nothing whatsoever for your efforts!

Sweeting really checked out mentally right now. Let's hope it stays that way.

Easy win 7-5 6-2 only caught the end, but Sweeting was poor.

Ed was standing so far back to return some of the serves that landed in.

Nice win Ed.

I saw the beginning, right up to 5-5 in the first, and it was very close, Sweeting playing pretty well.

Guess losing the first set took the stuffing out of him.

Ed has 8 points coming off next week, and 15 the week after (and a huge pile in autumn)

Both Liam and Brydan currently on the ATP livestream

add: with both guys being pretty much instantly and stupidly broken . .

Not the Liam that was playing at Wimbledon, yet.

So, with Liam playing poor, lazy tennis, and Brydan deciding he's forgotten how to serve, both guys are within a whisker of losing the first set, Liam down 0-5 and Brydan 2-5
