Yeah, very odd. Plus he went on at length about how nice Heidi always looked and she always wears a proper tennis outfit rather than showing up to play in practice gear like lots of other players (which is both creepy and incorrect).

When Melanie Oudin won he added a 'Baby' to the repeated 'Game. Set. Match.' to make it even weirder.

Maybe being sat on your own for several days in the Californian heat commentating on tennis just has that effect on people.

I know, we shouldn't get too annoyed, at least it's streamed at all (take note LTA, remember when you used to stream several of the ladies events over the past couple of years but haven't done so at all in 2015?)

Agreed - the USTA does a good job of providing coverage of these events with several cameras and commentary. Also, i quite enjoyed the weirdness of the commentary.
