Well done to all the finalists - perhaps especially the second seed, whose consistency sometimes feels a little underrated.

Edit: Post written before I'd seen the post above!

If you didn't know the Rankings or anything, looking at Cox's twitter you'd think he was one of the best in the world: absolutely constant work ethic. I think you're right though, I'm not sure Dan generally gets the credit he deserves for making the most of what he's got

Cox looking good now, serving up *4-2 in the 2nd set.
Willbomb's serve looks to have been pretty poor, he's lost as many points on serve as he's won!
So we seem to be heading for an All-Dan final tomorrow!

I'm sure it's only coincidence that A1 have one of their biggest matches of the year today.........

After a lengthy opening game on Dan Cox's serve, Evo breaks at the next time of asking and leads *2-1

Once again live scores seems to be playing up (failing miserably). Still showing the score at *2-1 Evo but I can find no indication of weather in Felixstowe right now!

Great win for Evans. 6-2 6-1.

He'll be looking for a big couple of months now.

Scott should comfortably be in the doubles top 300 for the first time on Monday week, taking out his CH 307.  Richard ( CH 263 ) should be up to around WR 300.

Impressive scoreline from Evo.

These two successive 15K titles should have him back up to around WR 420 on Monday week with the look of a guy ready to go much much higher again.

Dan Cox will be at around WR 360 on Monday week ( he has 29 points coming off this coming Monday ).

That win will put Evo onto 98 points, and move him up to around 420-ish in the rankings, a rise of 340 places in the space of 3 weeks. Most importantly, he may be able to squeeze into some weaker challenger draws, or at least get seeded in qualifying.

Really pleased with Dan's performance this last few weeks. It's encouraging to see him showing up and playing well in futures, and he should be feeling pretty confident having only lost one of his last 16 matches back to the Wimbledon WC Play-offs.

Commiserations as well to Dan Cox today. Happy to see him make the final and hopefully he can put in some more strong performances in the next few weeks to cover for the points that drop off soon

Well done Evo. Another title and another rise back up the rankings.

I just never know how excited to get about Dan. If he commits and fulfills that big potential he has the game to get right back up near the top 100. But will he want it badly enough. I so hope so. C'mon Dan you know you can do it.

Brilliant result for Evans! Now top 300 in the race and almost top 400 in the rankings. Hopefully another strong week in Dublin next week (though wouldn't be surprised if he withdrew/loses first or second round given the amount of tennis he has played recently). Definitely should be aiming for top 200 by the end of the year.

I forgot all about Dan in the excitement of the DC!  Well done - but keep it up, please.

Fantastic to see Dan get the win. Having missed out on PR having tried to come back from the knee injury he had rather than wait the 6 months. I have a feeling that building from further back in the rankings could be great as when he steps up to the challengers he'll hopefully have good momentum now.

Great couple of weeks for Dan. Needs to put some graft in over the next few months, get that ranking back up to where it belongs and hopefully stay healthy.
