Nice little achievement there, first time coming through qualifying of a challenger.

He's done really well but he hasn't come through qualifying yet - there's one more match, the FQR, against second seed, Giron (USA) WR 448

2 good wins so far for Farris. Do you get any ranking points if he is unlucky in the final round?

Nope:  the three points on offer go to qualifiers only. hmm

Found it now on the ATP site. I also notice that in the main draw there is no points for 1st round losers. You get 7 points if you lose in round 2. So Farris has to win 2 more matches to get anything toward his ranking. Is it just me or is this just a bit unfair. It is a 50k challenger and must be gut wrenching if you are a player like Farris trying to move upward, do well to qualify say for the main draw but fall sadly then in rd1 and not get a single point for your efforts. Seems wrong to me. Should be at least 1 point in the 1st round. Fingers crossed Farris can qualify and get a winnable 1st round match.

Oh Duh just had a muppet moment. Of course the 3 points for qualifying. Silly me. I'm tired today for the defense :)

Farris' match should be avaliable on livestream as the match before is currentlyshowing on it. That match is currently 3-3 in the 2nd set.

Farris took the first set 6-3 but rain has forced them off.

Had half an eye on the score Farris had a chance to serve for the match at 6-5 in the 2nd but got broken. Just seen he lost the tie break 8-6 and then the third set 6-0.

Was 6-3 up in the tiebreak with two serves. At least one double fault in there.
