You'd fancy Evo to at least get to the final now wouldn't you...

Dan is playing the Aussie seed.

I standby my predictions for the semi finals that I posted earlier in the thread.

Big win for Josh and Harry in the doubles.

Would love to see Evo get a win and his ranking back to top 150. Played close to it in qualifying for Wimbledon.

At 25 I think he realizes its time to give it a real go, now a complete convert having seen him bend his back, (and does he bend it)in the flesh to unleash his serve.

Seeing wardy in the third round must be very motivating.

Well, with the best will in the world to Keelan, if Dan Evans had that much trouble beating Keelan, second seed Jordan Thompson WR 250-ish must be feeling he's sitting very pretty and huge favourite . .

great, though, that Jordan is the only 'pesky' left . . .

allez, Dan.

Looks like a tough day for serving in Frinton as Marcus takes the 1st set 6-4 against Josh M. 7 of those 10 games went against the serve.

Ed took the 1st set 6-2 against Dan S but Dan is 5-2* up in the 2nd.

Ed has fought back in the 2nd to take it into a TB.

Josh up a break on Marcus at *3-2 in the 2nd

Excellent win for Marcus over josh Milton, in two sets.

(NB Interestingly, Marcus' top four counters come from outside the UK. . . .)

i think i remember someone mentioning Marcus prefers playing abroad, as the Brits know his game pretty well, whereas others can be surprised by his variety, which gives him a competitive advantage

Also the fact that was injured and missed most of the grass season last year
