Tom breaks to win 6-4 and take out the French seed.smilesmilesmile  I just wish he would play more regularly. It looks like he is down to play for the next two weeks as well.

I Have a funny feeling that Marcus may well have a point to prove to the LTA regarding not getting a wildcard and will have a good run over the next three - four weeks.

Gabb is a set up, Willis a break up

Hope to see Marcus doing well.  But I don't think he would have any real point re not getting a Wimbledon WC. He hadn't produced enough.

He may have been arguably next in line, but the split between the haves and the have nots made sense.  Cox and Milton - Yes. Willis, Rice and Smethurst - No.

Hope to see it being very clear for Marcus next year, for he will have done so much better.

Am I blind or is Evo v Tutu nowhere to be seen on the scores?

No reason why Marcus should not be picking up a minimum of 24pts in the next three weeks and move his ranking back inside the top 350. Josh Milton should be his main obstacle this week. Similar entry list for next week and then a weaker Dublin 15k tournament where he may well be top seed.

Marshall may well have dropped out as Jamie Whiteford is now on the OOP and hence why live scores is not picking up. It was scheduled after Gabb, so may well have finished by now.

As soon as I saw it on LS I thought that it would be Evo that had withdrawn.  Very pleased to be proven wrong.

Josh G looks like he is on the way to regaining his ranking. I suspect there may be a little competition going between Josh and Harry on ranking points....

Great result for Tom against Rémi, Tom's got such a good game when it's on form.

(Did always wonder though that if your name is, effectively, 'bottler' maybe you shouldn't be a sportsperson.....)

Glad to see Rob C getting a win (although shame it's at Toby's expense)

And Josh G too.

Excellent win from Scott Clayton too - the American is almost 450 places higher than him.

Not feeling quite so confident about Marcus' chances over the next few weeks, but would love to be wrong.....

No joy for either of the Maliks, as Jathan lost to the Aussie seed 2&4

Dave Rice is a set up and our Indian visitor has taken the first set off Robbie

I'll predict a semi final line up of:

Smethurst v Milton
Farquharson v Evans

Some interesting results in there. Great win for Tom F. Good to see Dan S and Rob C get decent wins as well
