Well the Romanian and his partner deserved the title and it is great to witness the emotion at the end .

Murray & Peers have stuck together and they just need to do just that keep going as a pair !

Agree. They have had three years together and really bonded well as a team. A shame Peers is not British. But well done to them. Success on the main tour and now a Grand Slam Final. Keep going guys. Great stuff to follow :)

I had to go out just as they were about to lose the second set. Ah well, getting to the final is a lot better than not getting there at all.

1st set looked the key for me, had their chances in the TB, but after that it was a struggle.

No doubt they will be gutted but it's been a fantastic breakthrough week for them. I really hope they continue to build on this. They've been on a steady upward trend pretty much since they first started playing together.

Would be great if they can qualify for the O2 as well.

The boys have both risen eight places in the rankings courtesy of their exploits in SW19, Jamie to 20 & John to 19, which gives them a combined ranking of 39. smile They've also moved up four places in the Race to fifth.
