Very accomplished first set from Heather. Two things she is doing well:
Moving Hantuchova around the court in rallies exposing her lack of speed
Making hardly any unforced errors

Bloody brilliant Heather, kept it clutch in that final point. Chuffed for her, glad to see that confidence back!

Her serve was really a weapon today and she played some lovely aggressive shots.

Heather wins 6-4 6-2biggrin

 

Really good consistent tennis throughout from Heather, and it felt like she executed the game plan perfectly. Hantuchova started well but made more and more erros as the match progressed and so the 2nd set was quite comfortable.

 

Third round might be tricky though.
