Guys - I'm banking on you all for frequent updates tomorrow and Tuesday. I have embarkation tomorrow, a busy day, and then a Day at Sea without the oases of cafes and port Wi-Fi to help me out, so I'm gonna need some tense commentary of final sets, ball-by-ball match coverage and, most importantly, six British wins in two days.
If you all can guarantee that then it'll be an excellent start to the cruise!
3-4 first round wins would really lift the spirits, tempting fate I know but I don't really look at Andy until the second round and expect Bedene to progress but if at least a couple of the other boys can get W's, I would be really elated.
Hmmm. Just wonder how James will take that news? Expectations would have been zero vs ferrer, now he's expected to win against an opponent who has won 2 matches in qualifying.
It makes the DC selection more fair though; guess who does best out of Ward/Kyle should now be picked

If Dino can't beat the Italian on grass, he doesn't deserve to be in the draw. Surely his best chance ever to reach the second round?
Could say the same for the Italian!
Yes. I think Vanni must think his ship's come in, with knobs on. Not only gets the top LL spot, but then gets a player outside the top 100, who's barely won a first round GS match.
