RE: Weeks 26 & 27 - Wimbledon - men's main draw (grass)

4-6 5-2* great chance to level it up. You feel he's not going to get a much better chance to get to the 4th round of a grand slam. Hope he can do it.

Served it out and just came through a very lengthy game early in the third. 4-6, 6-3, 1-1*.

Ward standing a LONG way back on second serves.... he needs to take a leaf out of AM's book there.

Wow. In a poor match, that's the best rally of the week I've seen.

GREAT break that!

As an aside, why are the BBC showing more of James's dad than the players?

WOW.

Ward comes out on top in a stupendous rally, some unbelievable retrieving in the middle of it (including a lob) and then breaks with a brilliant return.

Come on lad.

It's a strange match. The occasional astonishing rally amongst a bunch of soft errors that missed by a huge margin.

Pospisil's gone from woeful in the third to playing some top stuff in the fourth. Ward *1-4 down.

Looks like this one's going five...

Pospisil took the fourth 6-3.

Currently 3-2* on serve in the fifth. This one's really on a knife edge, nothing to separate them at all.

Pospisil's serving ridiculously well. Has won at least 12 points in a row on serve and most of them have been unreturnables.

5-5.

6-6.

Ward has won two return points all set. 19 in a row for Pospisil on serve. Jesus. I really can't see how he's going to break Pospisil.

The overall quality of the match was so poor, such a golden opportunity gone.
