playing better this second set James, but he really needs to step in a little more, and come to the net a bit more too - often he'll have Vanni in trouble but reluctant to venture forward to kill off the point.
By the way is any it getting annoyed at how Sue Barker keeps saying Lee Am Broddie.
Actually Sue is getting right up my nose recently. Liam wins, and she says something to the effect that Leon Smith will have lots of choice for the DC team - Andy, James, Kyle, Liam and Aljaz Bedene. For heaven' s sake, it has been all over the press and the internet (including the BBC website!) that Aljaz is not eligible. Then today she described Kukushkin as somebody "nobody has heard of".
Well people who follow tennis have heard of him, Sue, and I would have thought you were paid a generous salary to follow tennis. . .
Yes that 'nobody has heard of line' irritated me too. The BBC in general assume that all viewers don't have a clue. I can't tell if they genuinely have minimal tennis knowledge or are just trying to cater. Regardless of viewership, they'd be far better off just talking normally. Uneducated viewers would be far more interested in professionals talking from a professional standpoint than them trying to pretend they know just as little as your casual viewer.
They also kept on referring to Kukushkin as Russian. He's been Kazakhstani for the last 6-7 years now (and most of his professional career).

It seems that the Beeb have dumbed it down - there was a match last week (I think) where the commie assumed that no-one watching would have heard of one of the players.
