What is worse, is that they haven't even mentioned Kyle's match, let alone started to show it.

Why do we have to listen to Sue Barker wittering on when Kyle is playing?  It doesn't seem to be on the red button.  Where can I watch it?

I am guessing that they can't start showing live tennis until noon because of broadcasting rights.  It can be the only explanation as they did the same yesterday with Liam's match.

Either that or they are totally incompetent.

But they have JWT/Muller live on red button now.

Guess we'll have to put it down to incompetence then.  I don't have the red button facility here.

But breaks right back, aided by a couple of double faults from Dolgopolov.

some really sad comments again on this thread...without provoking a blocked thread.... Ive seen Liam play a few times and he had never gave up. M is very temperamental and Liam played the game and played really well, based on on the live bbc radio and ridiculous live Australian tv that I watched (living in oz). BTW it would be nice to listen to BBC live radio coverage of a GB player rather than on going reports of absolute rubbish, ie what clothes the announcers are wearing, what clothes spectators are wearing, interviews with players. For a five set match bbc radio probably covered 15 minutes of this match.

Thanks, LordB - bet there was a great atmosphere

Did you shout and cheer widely and madly ?????

and, yes, best of luck to the others....

Of course, I'm sure Liam could hear my very undignified squealing!

Brilliant recovery from Kyle to hold from 0-30. 5-4*.

Really good stuff from Kyle so far. His backhand is looking a bit "rusty" but I'll put that down to a lack of matches. he has only played once since pulling out of RG.

Tie break time in the 1st set.

Some of these comments are madness. If a British player had lost from 2 sets up, Im sure the same people would be challenging their mental strength, fitness, work ethic etc. yet when a Brit wins from 2 sets down, its all because their opponent gave up and doesnt prove that they deserved their place in the draw?! The player who mentally stays in the match and keeps chasing the balls is the player who deserves to win, not Liams fault that that was him and his opponent faltered.

How many players would win from 2 sets down against the world number 16? Based on ranking, there are only 15 players who should be favourite to beat him full stop, so that comment is totally ridiculous.

There will only be 64 players left in the draw by the end of tomorrow, its a remarkable achievement that one of them is a WC ranked outside the top 150. This match, and Liam's resolve, should absolutely be celebrated; what do we follow British tennis for if not to see one of our own pull of a career or even life ambition of winning a match at Wimbledon? There are plenty who never will, that's for sure.

Yes - totally acknowledge what you say about Goffin, I was a bit off the mark and I get what you're saying

Yes - Liam deserved to win, had superior body language, played better when it mattered and of course you can only beat what is put in front of you and still not easy to come from two sets down. So full credit for that. Didn't realise Matosevic was out of shape as well as out of form!

But just because someone simply has a different viewpoint to someone else does not make them mad and I just think some have just gone a tad overboard, which I suppose is understandable. As you say not many in the relative scheme of things not many people win a match at Wimbledon, particularly a British player.
