Katie serves it out - good win

Will bump up her ranking to low 600's having only played main draws at Sharm x 3,Birmingham and Wimbledon

It's why she lost the 2nd set IMO.  Was quite a wait while a decision was made with Katie with her head buried in her towel.  When she was given the all clear to play again, her opponent did not rise from the chair but insisted on the ref coming to the court to speak to her in person, meaning Katie was still hanging around looking worried sick and almost tearful.  Katie apologised to the line judge instantly the ball hit her and the official laughed and said she was fine.  Understandably, Katie had zero focus in the next few games.

Really not sure the point by point is that necessary although it is a nice thought!

It sounds like the right decision was made in the end, albeit after a lot of drama. Would have been a terrible way to get knocked out of Wimbledon.

As a counterpoint, I, for one, always greatly appreciate any commentary or scores that people provide.
