QR1:  (qWC) Sean Thornley & Darren Walsh CR 348 (190+158) defeated (q2) Johan Brunström & Frank Moser (SWE/GER) CR 178 (77+101 - combined age:  73 (38+35)!) by 4-6 7-6(2) 13-11  biggrin

The boys converted only one of 11 (I think) break points, but it was the crucial one in the twenty-third game of the decider...  They even saved an MP in the ninth game!  Splendid resistance/defence from two players who are not really used to it!

Bloomers put up a very decent performance today.

He needed to win it in two, as Dustov was slowly playing better and better, and Richard was slowly losing a little bit of punch as he tired slightly.

The score, overall, was fair. But the man did well

Based on last year I don't think they get any. This is based on looking at last years. 25 points if you qualify by the looks of it though.
