Seems abit strange that the main draw is out before the qualifying one.
The reason is that main draw matches start on Sunday hence the hence the draw coming out a day early (ATP rules requite it to be released by 10PM tonight). Of course the qualifying draw can't be done until 9PM tonight because that is the sign in deadline that is mandated by the ATP rules.
Main draw starts Sunday I think meaning the qualifiers are not going to be given much of a chance, assuming they have to win 3 matches to qualify.
Qualifiers will play two qualifying rounds on Saturday, one on Sunday and then there first main draw match on Monday. That there will be some main draw matches on Sunday makes no difference to them at all.

I think it does, in a normal tour event, qualification would be over 3 days, and then you might have a day off before starting the MD, here you will to play 4 matches in 3 days, a tough ask in anyone's books.

None of which has anything to do with the Sunday start for main draw matches. Regardless of whether or not there are main draw matches on Sunday a qualifier will still have to play the following schedule
It's a shame James didn't get Schwartzman in a way. Grass is both Aljaz and Schwartzman's weakest surface, so no advantage for either really.
Awful draw for Kyle. I remember him facing Muller last year in a challenger (or was it 2013?) when the latter was making his comeback. He held his own, but Muller was clearly a level above.
