Looks like a fantastic club. Every county ought to have four or five like this.

Great win from Neal and Ken. First set was really tight and the boys came back from an early break in the tie break so pinch it.

The boys got broken early in the second set, but did well to break back and again come back from 4-6 in the tie break to win. Neal hit some cracking return winners and both served and played very solidly. I think the boys are enjoying the change in surface and confidence is returning.

Hopefully that will be enough for a Wimbledon wildcard, as it seems only Katie Swan knows for definite....

Just caught the end of Sean and Darren's win again coming from behind in the tie break, but another decent win.

This needs updating !
Another win for the all conquering Skupski brothers. Awful scheduling meant their match started at exactly the same time as Josh's. Slow start but found 5th gear very quickly in awful conditions. Semis tomorrow. Hard luck to Sean/ Darren who lost out in the MTB.

Brilliant news and good to see them back on form.

They have the wildcard for Wimbledon, so a financial guarantee and are moving up the rankings again and hopefully will do something at Nottingham as well

Good luck in the final

Well done, The Skups.

Sends a message too, to all those who have a really dry 6 months or so, that there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Yesterday was cold, with major wind chill, today was just freezing without the need for wind chill. The lads started slowly, but once Neal changed rackets the momentum changed markedly in their direction. The MTB started with a gift a DF, and 2 key rat a tat rallies at the net crucially went to the lads and that was that.

Very frustratingly they're not assured WCs at Notts, eventhough their form should assure them one.

After a long week of commuting to and from Ilkley, leaving early this morning and then having to wait around all day, the guys were maybe a bit flat, but what a few weeks it's been, 1 semi, 1 final and 1 title, means they're massively moving back in the right direction. Massive also to get the WC into Notts, with a half decent draw.

A pity, but another great week for the guys.
