NB I've always thought that, more than most, PHM is capable of losing any match you throw at him. Doesn't mean that he will, obviously, he has to win sometime, but that man has the ability to make winning look hard and grab defeat out of the jaws of victory, over and above nearly all others . . .

But still a great weekends work for him and another win that should lift his confidence, should help him to continue to keep his head in the game, as mentioned earlier he has the pedigree and work ethic to push Kyle to be British number 2 over the next couple of years.
A big ask perhaps as I can see Kyle sitting at least (acknowledging that the fearhand has potential to cause havoc at an even higher level) where Hev sits in the ladies game as a 22/23 year old, he just needs to stay healthy.
If Liam can begin to show a bit of form I would say Uk men's tennis has had a corking couple of months in and around the bussiness end of the tour where players begin to earn some money.
Looking at tomorrow's OOP and seeing just 6 singles and 2 doubles matches on the Monday of Queen's makes me very sad. Had I known that upgrading the tournament would result in the draw being reduced from 56 to 32 I would never have welcomed the news. Combine this with the lack of British participants and I feel like the event has been ruined.

I agree. I never bought tickets for the main week (me being cheap) but the quali weekend used to be great. And the TV coverage of the main week was great, especially with the late afternoon/ early evening matches, drink in hand, grass court tennis on the telly.....
And now there's nothing much left - I didn't even bother going to the Qs today (all four matches on at the same time, only one Brit who I saw twice last week) and further on there will only be one match at best on later in the day, if that . . . as you say, no real interest now.....
I'm not aware of anything from the ATP to say ATP 500s should be restricted to 32 man draws. Indeed the ranking points system makes contingencies for a greater than 32 man ATP 500 draw.
The old 10 points for a R1 win often seemed a poor return and I looked forward to the normal big draw as an ATP 500.
So why have Queen's / the LTA gone this route with some very clear negative aspects ?
Completely cheesed off - as tickets are so expensive and we have often been left standing in the rain in previous years, we opted for ground tickets this year. What can we see? One doubles match at 12.30 on court 9, nothing on court 2. That's not really worth the train fare. Guess it was naive of me not to realise how few matches there would be this year.

Write it down and drop it off at the Office or wherever, addressed to the Tournament Director.
It's ridiculous. I feel for you. I was pretty miffed about the qualis this weekend too (but can't really complain because they're free).
But a grounds ticket for one match ????? Did you have to pay for the ticket?
