Matt's had a great few weeks in French league - the best results of any of the Brits (although that's partly as a result of the opponents i.e. several others won all their matches but just didn't play very highly ranked players, not their fault). So glad to see it transpose into the ITF.

the fourth seed was put out by the ex-top 350 player so:

THis is already matt's joint best result for the last 12 months, and should get him back to WR 900 or so

Great stuff from Matt so far this week. Does he not get an SE for next week ? Maybe it has something to do with the different level of tournament. i.e 10k v 15k

I assume Martos and Palma del Rio are close to each other, considering Matt has just won his QR1 match in Palma del Rio while still being in the semis here?!
