I was having breakfast at the official hotel this morning, and not one of the players had even half a look at the cooked breakfast. Alas I've now succumbed 11/11 times since the start of my trip.

Good choice. If she gets whipped qualies for Wimbledon. Good performance, main draw.

Other countries reward their top juniors. Why not? Not as if we're drowning under the number of other potential recipients.

I'm all in favour of wildcards but it's a huge jump.... Very few (if any) MD ones given to players ranked in the 800s - I don't think other countries go that far....

Tessah Andri. (same age and World ranking as Katie) got an unexpected WC to the Qualis this year, in Roland Garros, but that was to the QUALIS ! And after beating a top 100 ranked player.....
