Very pleased for Lucy Brown to have come through the marathon match with Nik.
Her opponent will be either young Nell or the Finish girl, who are still in a VERY long match. Lord knows if they'll get their second match played today.
Thanks very much Peter too for all the results and draw info.
I personally would also prefer to see non GB draws when they are only one or two in that many qualifying or main draws. It completes the picture as to what potentially lies ahead and clarifies where exactly is the missing tie(s).
Emma Hurst will be ranked now with last weeks point and this weeks to add to the third counter in qualifying for Barnstaple. So we will still have 25 at least ranked players for the top25 table.

great !
And am I stating the obvious, but presumably Jasmin will be back ranked again now ?
Doesn't she have two counters at the moment and this will be her third ? (and a three-pointer, at that)?
Yes Jasmine will be ranked and might even make top 1000 if she qualifies so we are fine. With the 10ks to follow next month some of those with two counters here might end up with rankings. And Grace Dixon is in Egypt again another chance there.
Oh my. A heart-breaking match late in the day. As I said previously, I've kind of lost touch with the new generation of players coming through so in all honesty apart from our Nix (who I missed anyway) and Lucy, I didn't know any of them, so interesting to have a look around the courts.
I took in the whole of the Eden Richardson vs Savannah Sills match, and what an epic it was. For 2 sets Eden was the better player, and what a great forehand she has. Savannah had the bigger serve but Eden played a mature game which took her to a set and 5-3 up. That's when it all went wrong. A combination of errors on her part and to be fair some fantastic play from Savannah under immense pressure, led to Eden unable to convert 12 (TWELVE) match points at 5-3, 5-4 and 6-5. Not surprisingly, she was there for the taking in the third set after such disappointment.
SO on the bright side, her first ranking point in the bank. The manner of the loss is going to hurt like hell, but will make her stronger in the long run I hope. In short, she played a great game for the first couple of hours, and I'll be following her with interest come jnr Wimbledon.

thanks for that like you lucy brown is the only one I have seen play
I've seen Savannah play, and thought she was a 'smart' player. Great to hear about Eden - I've heard excellent things about her and, as you say, for someone that young, it can only make her stronger. Getting her first point in a third set tie-break must have been a buzz.
Thought young Nell Miller's loss (5-7 7-5 7-5) was crushing too (against a player who is ex-top 900 or so) but, again, at 15, it's got to bode well.
I've seen quite a lot of the others (at British Tour events) - interesting to see how they all fared. Some important 5-pointer matches tomorrow . . .
