I didn't want to jinx her but fancied Jo would have a very good chance against Puig who I thought is more of a clay courter; so very glad even thinking it wasn't fatal...bit close though!

Wow that was nervy, and Jo still won !!!!!!!! That last point !!!!! I was at the perfect height to see how close Puig's shots were scraping over the net, I think at least one flicked the net. Needed about 1/2 hour afterwards to recover. Puig made R16 last year at Wimby so can play on the green stuff. Winnable next match, if Niculescu 's slices don't drive her insane.
