I wouldn't fancy Joss and Anna in a full deciding set now so am glad it's just a tie-break where anything can happen

Watched the stream. They played well but two very poor points from Anna at *7-4 in the MTB sadly cost them. They saved the first match point brilliantly but not the second.

A great week but gosh what might have been. It was there for them.

But how fantastic a team can they be?! So much potential.

Really good effort but, as Paul mentioned, couldn't quite close it out from a good position at *7-4.

I remember watching their first WTA final, where Joss and Anna were outclassed, so it was excellent to see them put in a strong performance in the final today, even if it wasn't quite enough in the end.

Definitely, they have just played the WR14 doubles players and the only difference, if anything, was the amount of experience the Americans have.

I can see Joss and Anna getting quite a bit higher in the rankings quite quickly just by getting to the stage where they can play in the grand slams and regularly play WTA rather than ITF events. A decent run at Wimbledon would be a massive help in this regard.

Can be little doubt about that, Phil.

It is under 14 months since they stepped beyond 25Ks and took on a 50K and made the SF.

Now they will be hitting another CH of probably about WR 75.
