I totally respect that but at the time was keen to find marcus a regular doubles partner after the Lewis burton debacle . It's A1 policy that we are keen to support players that commit to the team . Could the sponsor of raynes park help ?
Real pity for Marcus. It is a pity that he doesn't more schedule himself for possible higher level competion and is clearly at the mercy of the draw on the relatively few occasions that he does.
Indeed it continues to be strange to me that he is as coservative as he for so much of the time seems to be re tourrnament levels and locations. He does seem more fitted than many who give it more of a go in abilities and also temperament and personality.
Well done Dan S. Would be great to see him soon back much higher up the rankings.
So what bonus system rewards have players earned at all in qualifying here ?
And leaving aside the general questionable / controversial enough geneeral funding cuts where on earth do the bonus system cuts fit in with 'make them hungrier', 'tough love', whatever policy ??
This is a previously seemingly pretty welcome and well thought of INCENTIVE WIN system.
Do the LTA consult and / or seek feedback from players, coaches etc on any of these changes ?

Just about the worst draw Dan S could have received.
Without a doubt. It isn't just ranking but the fact that Kudla has a good record on grass having qualified for Wimbledon and then won his first round two years in a row and having made the QF of Queen's in 2013.
Shame Rice lost the 2nd set. He was 0-3, then worked his way back to 3-3 but Myneni took the next 3 and the set 6'3.
1-1 then, Rice serving.
Good to see the ATP website is showing action from Surbiton both Centre and Court 1.
