Another very promising result from Luke too. He is playing well at the moment.

Excellent by Sean !

And a big well done to Luke - is he going to be the player who makes it without bothering too much about those pesky futures events ?

So glad about Mr Bambridge's win: he deserves one after so many close losses to quality opponents. Brilliant stuff - well done!

Evo is a break up in the first set against the Aussie.
Lewis Burton is a set down and in a second set tiebreak.
Joe Salisbury and Alex Ward are about to start.

I'll be heading down to London for the tournament this week, hoping to go either Tuesday or Wednesday - or both!

No surprise to me,but Joe has started well and a break up on Alex.

Sean result was a bit of a surprise, but thoroughly expected Bambo to win.

Alex is pretty poor on grass, especially compared to Joe, who must be the big favourite, surely.

Interesting to see what the youngsters bring. As Bob said, decent effort from Joel. ANd Alexis now up against the doubles specialist.

Mind you, three DFs in the space of the first couple of games is not good, Joe ...

Marcus took the second set and looks to be back on track, a break up at *2-0 in the decider against Scott Clayton.
Dan S and Richard Gabb look like heading into a tiebreak in the first set.
Joe Salisbury took the second set, on serve in the decider against Alex Ward
Alexis Canter has gone off the rails a little, lost the second set and down a break in the decider.
Marsa and Bambo have kicked off in their 2QR match.
Robbie Ridout is on course to take his game to a decider, up 5-1* in the second set.
