RE: Week 22 - Challenger (€42,500) - Manchester, GB (Grass)

Great fight back in that tie-break by Luke. Ha faced two or three (?) set points and came through

and, yep, still remember a couple of those mega close losses by Joe last year, on grass, to top 250/300 players

Joe served really well in the last match with 21 aces and has just started his final qualifying round with a hold of serve that included 2 aces.

5*-1 and serving for the set ...

But, with two aces, and a DF, he gets broken.

Then has set points on Matt's serve. But no.

Serves again for the set - another ace, another DF - and gets broken again.

Now 4*-5 - back on serve ....

Brydan claims he's a local lad, as his mother's from Manchester, and he has a lot of family there

Wish all the GB players good luck . . .

Well they are claiming Liam to be local and I thought he was from Stockport so Brydan can claim that too if he likes.

Liam and Naomi are from Stockport, but its only a few miles away and they both played regularly at the club in their early years. Not sure about Brydan, but he did play there last year.
