Porter has won the 1st set against Reid 6-4 and is really playing well, taking the game to him.

Salisbury has also won the second set on a tie break 7-6 (2)

At last, some GB success in Manchester. Well played Joe. He certainly seems to like the grass.

There playing indoors, it's been raining since lunchtime and now very gusty.

I had four potential GB for qualifying on grass - Salisbury, Bambridge, Evans and Norrie. Just two left and Joe will be better on grass than indoors.

Salisbury is a very dangerous player on fast surfaces...particulary on grass. Can see him having some more big results in the coming months

Fingers crossed he has enough in the tank to get past Reid later on

Bambo has taken the first set 7-6. He was 6-2 down in the TB!
