A couple of seriously tough draws there for Evan and JWH.

The results were as expected and I suppose that with Evo and Cam high up on my hit list for a rapid return/entry into the Top 500, this is probably the best outcome. Always difficult in any match though, when you want BOTH players to win.

I remember reading about Cam Norrie a couple of years ago when he first switched allegiances to GB, but have yet to actually see him play. I see he's still young, has anyone seen much of him? I see people post about him like he has a fair bit of potential, is he someone who could go quite far in the game?

David Porter has won the first set 6-1 vs Matthew Chadwick, but Chadwick leads 3-1 in the second.

Scott Clayton is about to rinse WC Kristofer Kirby, leading 6-0 5-0.

Cam has just finished a highly successful season of US College tennis and is definitely a great prospect. I haven't seen him play personally but I have heard excellent things about him. He won't go too far in the rankings just yet however as he has another year or 2 (not sure) left at US college.  But when he DOES play on the tour he has the potential to do some serious damage.

Poor Kristofer Kirby won just 9 points in the match.

4/15 on first serve
0/13 on second serve

3/22 against first serve
2/7 against second serve

Thanks for the info, I'll certainly keep an eye on his progress going forward, hopefully get a chance to see a bit of him play (via stream) later in the week!

Cam was on the livestream last year (or earlier this year?), out in the US. It all looked very good - better than I'd expected.

And well done to Kirby all the same.

4 wins here would be a success I think. Josh and Marcus almost no chance and Dan S prob not quite there yet to challenge. Fancy Ed to do well this summer an Dan Cox too and James whatshisname should come through.
