That was tight - but James did it 8-6 in the tie-break . . .

('it' being the first set, just in case anyone thinks he's won the match . . .. )

thought he played relatively well.
Would like to see him play more aggressively on the return of serve.

Up against Groth in the QF - if Ward can continue to serve well he should be able to do the business. Groth obviously a big server so I think the match will follow much the same pattern as this one

Wow the title isn't half there for the taking if James can get past Groth... One match at a time though. Aussie will start as favourite for sure.
