So close! Not that there's a particular doubt about him being top-100 in the long-term, but making it in the next month would definitely end any of the hoodoo around the status.
I find witchcraft highly offensive I think you should all stop trying to curse tennis players they might read this forum and it might affect them. Matters around players in the top 100ish appear to be sensitive.
How do we know that the Wizard of Oz didn't jinx Kyle at RG
If Kyle does pull out that would free up a Wild Card. I think one more win to the semis at Surbiton would be a strong argument for Josh Milton to get it given his form on grass Id say would be a fair compromise rather than Wimbledon.

While I certainly wouldn't argue with that I would ask from a tennis point of view why would Josh want a Queen's wild card. Upgrading Queen's to an ATP 500 and reducing the draw size to 32 has made it an extremely unattractive tournament for most British players. The last DA on the original acceptance list is WR 43 so unless you are lucky enough to draw a fellow wild card the chances of getting a first round win are pretty remote.
Obviously the first round prize money (well over £8K I believe) is very attractive and in the event of getting a win 45 points is a very nice return but from a tennis point of view the Ilkley challenger looks like a better bet.
Yes I did think that RJA I was thinking merely from the point of view it would be a compromise and although unlikely to yield a victory the prize money coupled with experience of playing a top 50 player may be ideal preparation for Wimbledon Qualies which he is now certain to get a WC for.

Certainly a good point and I guess what is the point of playing unless you are going to chase the dream.
