As I indicated earlier in this thread I actually think Laura's game has been looking steadily on the up over several months rather than any sudden turnaround of her year.
Does seem to have shown improvement again this week and that indeed seems to have been a worthy performance in defeat.
You may be right. There could be a hundred different reasons - and I don't which one or ones, if any, are true. But, in any sport, winning is habit forming. I don't think she could have played the way she did yesterday and today 3 months ago. Who knows - but we could do with some good news on the womens front.
